Creatures killed by the Spellplague become Flensed. There are multiple forms, depending on what exactly the victim was before they fell to the disease.
The weakest of the Flensed are husks. Just the corpses of the dead animated by the remnants of raw magic within them and mindless
The husks are most easily manipulated by the mages of the Cypher Cult and can be melded together to form intelligent constructs of flesh and bone.
Abomination: The largest of the Flensed. This creature only grows bigger and stronger as more mass is added to it. Possessing a rudimentary sentience, this creature is able to pick friend from foe, however it eats jsut about everything in its way regardless.
Wave Treader: A creature created to be used as transport above the treacherous river, these creatures are formed from dozens of husks and appear much like giant turtles, but with long, ropy tentacles where their limbs should be. The tentacles are about 10ft long and propel the creature quickly across the river and can even carry its massive bulk onto land.
Gibbering Mass: A mass of husks that have melded without the input of a cypher cultist. This creature travels where it pleases and ingests whatever it can. The dead minds of the creatures composing it has driven the beast insane and its form constantly shifts. The creature speaks in mad and unintelligent phrases that produce a mind-influencing insanity effect to those near it.
Ravener: A master creation created by the Prophet himself. The Ravenenr was created from the bodies of still living, but infected cypher mages loyal to the Prophet’s cause. The creature has a vast intelligence, but will die defending the chamber to its master from anyone it deems intruders. Anyone that lays eyes on the creature feels as if insects are crawling underneath their skins and those weak of mind believe this to be true and begin tearing themselves apart to get them out.
